Coffee Chat with Arts Co-op

Bring your coffee, we’ll bring the Timbits, and you could also win some Arts Co-op swag!

Come for 5 minutes or stay for an hour to learn more about co-op, possible career paths, and meet some members of our team. No RSVP required – simply drop by with any questions you may have and get to know us. We’ll have two of our Co-op Career Educators and several senior co-op students on hand.

Who’s going to be there?

Scott Entwistle, Co-op Career Educator 

Scott has been with Arts Co-op since October 2021, and before that worked for UBC Development, supporting the fundraising activities of the Office of the President, and for the Juno Beach Centre, Canada’s Second World War memorial in Normandy, France. His experience mobilizing his passion for history into a career outside of that field gives him insight into the experiences of many Arts students.

Evelyn Gunn, Co-op Career Educator 

Having held roles in industry and academia in a few different continents, Evelyn brings an international perspective to career coaching. She has helped hundreds of individuals, from students to professionals, and is eager to help Arts Co-op students succeed too.

Hayley Banks, President, Arts Co-op Student Association 

Hayley is the current President of Arts Co-op Students’ Association and is a current fourth-year International Relations major in the BA+MM program. She has completed an 8-month Co-op term as a Development Assistant at UGM and a 4-month term as a Retail Sales Co-op at Manulife Investment Management.

Amanda Domagala, Marketing Chair, Arts Co-op Student Association 

Amanda is a fifth-year English literature major. She completed an eight-month work term with the UBC Thunderbirds as a Social Media Coordinator and a four-month work term with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a Communications Coordinator.

Aurellia Sunarja, Professional Development Chair, Arts Co-op Student Association 

Aurellia is an international student, studying a combined major in Economics and Mathematics with a minor in Environmental and Sustainability. She’s currently on her last co-op work term as an Analyst Intern at Deloitte. Previously, she did an eight-month work term as a Business Analyst at Telus Communications.
