Cormac joins the UBC Arts Co-op Program with more than 15 years of experience in the employment and training fields. He is a Certified Career Development Practitioner (CCDP) with a Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree in Sociology. He has extensive experience working with employers, associations, and government toward creating opportunities for people to pursue new avenues and careers. As a skilled facilitator and natural relationship-builder, Cormac has worked closely with various employers and industry associations in different sectors to implement employment and communication-based training programs, as well as Labour Market Sector Projects.

Naturally curious, Cormac loves meeting new people and learning about their career pathways. Through his role as Manager, Business Development, for the Arts Co-op Program, he is excited to build new connections and highlight the amazing skillset an Arts Co-op student can bring to an organization.

Born in Ireland, he enjoys the art of conversation over coffee and, in his free time, he loves writing, reading, running, music and spending time with his favourite people.
