Simran completed her undergraduate degree at UBC, during which she completed a co-op work term with the UBC Arts Co-op Program as a Business Development Assistant. In this role, she helped expand employment opportunities for Arts Co-op students and strengthen employer engagement with the program.

Following her co-op experience, Simran contributed to a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting newcomers across British Columbia, where she developed community partnerships and engagement initiatives that connected individuals to valuable resources and opportunities. Driven by a commitment to supporting others and building inclusive communities, Simran is excited to continue supporting students in the co-op program in her role as a Program Assistant.
