Current Students

If you are a current Arts Co-op student, we’ve compiled a list of resources and opportunities for you.

Apply for Co-op Jobs

Access Symplicity online to search for co-op job openings, apply to positions, schedule interviews, and access ongoing co-op news and announcements.

Arts Co-op Hub

The Arts Co-op Hub is an online collection of resources to support your success in the Co-op Program.

Available as a course in Canvas, the Arts Co-op Hub includes:

  • Detailed guides for key stages in co-op: searching for a co-op job, preparing for a work term, and succeeding in a work term.
  • Resources for graduating students, including ways to continue career exploration and how to search for jobs after co-op.

Complete Work Term Projects

For each co-op work term, you are required to complete and submit several Work Term Professional Development Projects through Canvas.

You can access this at the start of the term through Canvas once you are registered in your ASTU or ARTC course.

Arts Co-op Student of the Year Award

Each year, we honour one undergraduate and two iSchool students as our Arts Co-op Students of the Year.

As the winner, you’d receive a $1000 award, recognition on your transcript, and an impressive line to add to your resume.

Applications for the 2023 award are closed. Information for the 2024 award will be announced in late fall 2024.

Arts Co-op Students’ Association (ACSA)

The Arts Co-op Students’ Association (ACSA) is an AMS club that recognizes the need to bring co-op students together and strives to create a community for Arts Co-op students to connect with one another.

In addition to acting as liaisons between students and co-op staff, the ACSA Chairs and Associates manage portfolios such as social-event planning, professional development, mentorship, finance, promotions, publishing, and web development.

Develop your interpersonal, networking, organizational, and communications skills. Meet and work with other students in the program and liaise with employers and alumni. If you’re interested in joining ACSA, send an email to acsacoordinator@gmail.com.
