About

Prior to UBC, Linda gained years of experience working in multiple roles in a contemporary art museum, archive, and other non-profit art and cultural organizations. She is passionate about preserving the documentation of history and cultural heritage. Through her engagement in various collections-related projects in the past, she believes in the potential of archives in making less visible histories visible, altering mainstream narrative, or even advocating social justice.

Over the years, Linda has acquired proficient skills in working with collections management systems, cataloguing object records, archival description, and developing metadata standards and procedural documentation. She also gained vast experience in client service delivery in her previous jobs, such as front desk service and providing archives tours to collection users. In her Program Assistant role with the UBC Arts Co-op Program, Linda hopes to apply her database knowledge and customer service experience to help students navigate their co-op journey.

In her free time, Linda loves to play with her dogs, spend time with family and friends, and enjoy time in the nature.
